The system can be configured to communicate with a device to provide local and/or remote interface to the connected device. The system can also be configured for local data storage. The user can utilize standard software to access and monitor device information and status through ODBC connections. Commonly used software includes MS Access™ , Visual Basic ™ or custom coded applications almost any language the user is familiar with. Interface screens or human machine interfaces (HMI) can also be built using HTML. This means the user can access information on the connected device with only a web-browser.
